Litchard Primary School opened its doors as a new primary school in September 2009. The new Pimary School was formed as a result of amalgamation of two very successful schools namely the Infant and Junior schools.

The school occupies a large campus and is fortunate to have excellent facilities including a large playing field, wooded areas, swimming pool, several playgrounds, two halls ,dining room and computer suites. All teaching areas have interactive whiteboards and each class is linked to the internet.

We are proud of our end of Key Stage assessment results. These are often above local and national averages. There is a large team of dedicated professionals who provide a rich and varied menu for the children here.

The school holds a number of clubs during lunch breaks and after school. These include: a science club, choir, Welsh, French, Seeds and Weeds, rugby, football, netball, art, IT and games.

Educational visits are an important part of our provision and the school offers opportunities for children to attend residential courses in France and Llangrannog.
